Prof. Peter DAY (Oxford , University College London (UCL), Royal Society and Royal Institution of England) has passed away.

One of the evaluation committee members, Professor Peter DAY (Oxford , University College London (UCL), Royal Society and Royal Institution of England) has passed away.

He was a pioneer in inorganic chemistry and physical properties of inorganic materials. He also had a good understanding of chiral magnetism. He was planned to evaluate Core-to-Core in London this April (although it was postponed by coronavirus).
We are deeply saddened by this bad news.
We pray that his soul may rest in peace.
